About Me:
After spending some time teaching at DAEP and Magnolia High School, I am excited to be returning to ALPHA! The 2021-2022 school year will by my 30th year in education and my 13th year in the Magnolia ISD.  I also previously taught in Aldine ISD and in Cy-Fair ISD.  I am a native Texan and have lived in the Houston area for most of my life. I graduated from Cy-Creek high school and attended Stephen F. Austin State University for 2 years before transferring and graduating from Texas A&M University. I am certified in both Math and Science for grades 6 - 12.  My husband and I currently live in the Tomball area with our two little dogs. I have two adult children - a son and a daughter. My son lives and works around the Houston area while my daughter is currently living and working in Austin.  I enjoy teaching math and science to high school students in an alternative setting because it allows me to really get to know my students. I truly believe that we are life-long learners and I hope to instill that sentiment in my students this year at ALPHA!
